Altered Jars with decorative toppers

I have a passion for buttons. They just make me happy. Call me crazy. I love collecting them and I don’t think that a project is complete without a few buttons thrown in. Currently, I have all of my buttons stored in drawer. However, I needed more drawer space and I decided that I wanted to display my buttons where I could see them. I needed a couple of jars and so I decided to  use  some old jars I had on hand.

That’s neat! It looks like it was part of the lid {and it doesn’t look plastic either}!

Cute idea! I, too, love buttons and have them in old mason jars with the zinc lids but I’d love to make a new home for them from your idea. Thanks for always being creative and sharing those things with us. I am a faithful Studio 5 viewer and your blog!
