I LOVE your site, ideas, everything! I’m so happy I came across one of your Studio 5 shows on You Tube
I’m wondering, where do I find/purchase the silver frame pendant to epoxy the photos? Thanks!
Julie
This has really been helpful. One thing that I have a question about is the looped head pin. Are you gluing it down with the Decoupage glue under your picture before you pour the resin on? So, you make it as short as possible under your small picture & then once the resin dries, it is secured & then you have your loop to put your necklace through? Thank you so much!

Debbie, I have since found an easier way to do this and I plan on updating this post. You can purchase jewelry anchors (try etsy.com). They just glue onto the back of the bottlecap. Soooo much easier.
I wondered what type of glue you used to glue your magnet on the back of your bottle cap. I have tried jewelry bead glue, super glue and hot glue and all have failed. The magnets if they come in contact with each other pull off the bottle cap.
Hi Betty,
Sorry it took so long to get back to you. I too have had that same problem. It will work fine for awhile and then it suddenly looses it’s stickiness. So, I did a little research for you and the best answer I could find is . . . Hot glue. I’ve not used it yet, but it is something I want to try. If there is anyone else out there that has a better answer I’d love to hear it. : )

Hi,
Thanks for the tutorial on You Tube. I had trying to figure out how to get that nice finish on bottle caps and have bought a bunch of stuff trying to figure it out.
Now for the anchors….every time I try to do a search for “jewelry anchors” in every search engine, I get a bunch of nautical anchors. Can you point me in the right direction?
Oh! Found it! “GLUE-ON BAILS”
When I make magnets I use E-6000 to glue the magnets on the back! This stuff will glue any thing for LIFE! haha Its good stuff!
I also use E-6000 to glue the magnets on. They don’t come off.
Interesting post i totally agree with the comments above. Keep writing
GREAT site! What type of printer and paper do you use? I am having trouble with my images smearing and running. THANKS!!
I use Kodak mat photo paper. IF you use an ink jet printer you do have to be careful. I usually carefully brush a light layer of Mod Podge on first to seal it. However, printing with a laser printer eliminates this all together.
Re: glue I always use E6000. Also, I do a lot of crafts, I spray my Ink Jet photos and documents with Clear matt spray, it stops the ink from bleeding–it is the same concept as using Mod podge- yet it is faster, easier, and leaves NO streaks..I did MANY altoid tins this year with Vintage Halloween pics on them. Printed out all the photos, sprayed them with clear spray, used spray adhesive, then clear sprayed them again…
